Brake Repair — what we actually do

Brakes are the one repair you don't guess on. Grinding, pulsing, soft pedal, squealing — it's telling you something, and it gets more expensive the longer it waits. We fix it right the first time.

We do full brake service — pads and rotors, calipers, flex lines, master cylinders, ABS diagnostics, brake fluid flushes. Dealer-grade parts when the car needs them, quality aftermarket when it makes sense. Your call, made with the facts.

Ten-plus years as a GM dealer master tech means we've torn down every brake system on the road. We know which pads squeal, which rotors warp, which calipers stick. We fix the cause, not the symptom.

Common questions

How much does a brake job cost? +
Pads-only runs $150–$300 per axle depending on the vehicle. Pads plus rotors is typically $300–$600 per axle. We quote exact numbers after we see the car — no phone-call estimates that balloon in person.
Do I need new rotors or can you turn the old ones? +
Depends on thickness and condition. If the rotors are above minimum spec and aren't warped or deeply grooved, turning is fine and cheaper. If they're below spec, they're unsafe — we replace. We measure in front of you.
Why are my brakes squealing? +
Nine times out of ten it's the wear indicator tab — a little metal tab designed to squeal when pads are low. Sometimes it's glazed pads, a stuck caliper, or hardware that needs lube. We figure out which one before quoting.
Do you do brake fluid flushes? +
Yes. Brake fluid absorbs water over time and that kills stopping power and corrodes lines. Most manufacturers want it flushed every 2–3 years. We do the full system, not just a reservoir swap.
Can I get brakes done on a Saturday? +
Yes — weekends are when we run full hours. Mornings book first. Call 606-386-0997.
